C3 Alliance
Cooperative infrastructure for sovereign communities
What is the C3 Alliance?
The C3 Alliance (Cosmic Commons Communities Alliance) is a network of cooperatives, community land trusts, and sovereign communities building shared infrastructure for the cooperative economy.
We believe in coordination without coercion, value creation without extraction, and governance without centralized authority. The Alliance provides the technical, legal, and social infrastructure to make this possible.
Core Infrastructure
Governance Frameworks
Tokenized governance systems that enable transparent, participatory decision-making across distributed communities. Our governance infrastructure includes:
- SBT-DID (Soulbound Token Decentralized Identity) for member verification
- COMM tokens for governance participation
- On-chain proposal and voting mechanisms
- Treasury management for shared resources
N3 Commons Nodes
Physical infrastructure nodes that combine:
- Renewable energy production (solar, wind)
- Sustainable food systems (permaculture, aquaponics)
- Community gathering and workspace
- Local economic infrastructure
The first N3 Commons node is currently being developed in Hardin County, Texas.
Shared Technology
Open-source infrastructure for cooperative operations:
- Blockchain-based accounting and treasury
- Member coordination tools
- Federated communication systems
- Shared knowledge repositories
Exit-to-Cooperative (E2C)
One of our key initiatives is helping traditional businesses convert to cooperative ownership structures. E2C provides:
- Legal framework templates
- Tokenomics design for ownership transition
- Governance migration strategies
- Ongoing support and integration into the Alliance
Tokenomics
The C3 Alliance operates on a multi-token system:
- COMM - Governance token for Alliance-wide decisions
- PPT - Plausible Potentials service credits
- XPT - Experience tokens tracking contribution and reputation
- Member-specific tokens - For local cooperative governance
Membership
The C3 Alliance is open to:
- Existing cooperatives seeking shared infrastructure
- Communities exploring cooperative models
- Businesses considering Exit-to-Cooperative transition
- Individuals aligned with cooperative principles
